BULGARIA

 

Bulgaria is situated in Southeastern Europe, and covers 111 000 square km in the east part of the Balkan Peninsula. More than a third of the country side are mountain regions, with the highest peak in the Peninsula (Moussala, 2925m). The environment in Bulgaria is very well preserved due to low industrialization and the multiple National Parks all around the country.
